BMBS, FRACS Orthopaedic Surgeon

Dr Matthew Liptak, graduated from The Flinders University in 1996 and became a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (Orthopaedic Surgery) in 2007. Post-graduation he has become a prominent Adelaide Orthopaedic Surgeon building a career based on best outcomes for patients. He specialises in knee and hip arthroplasty and sports injuries. Research has been a prominent part of his portfolio. He is a member of The Australian Knee Society and is a prominent speaker at national and international meetings and has been innovative with providing medical audience’s access to live surgery viewed digitally locally, nationally and internationally.

As a previous professional footballer who played with the Adelaide Crows throughout the golden years of the 90s he was driven by team success. He has collaborated with The Flinders University Medical Device Partnering Program (MDPP) with a digital health interconnected outcome driven project – The MAXM Skate.

It is these core values and his determination to provide better outcomes for patients recovering from surgery that initiated his start up journey – MAXM.

Rob Bowden
CEO and Physiotherapist

Robert has worked throughout Australia leading Allied Health organisations. He was part of the Xtra group in which, with his partners grew the business’s arm that was focussed on rehabilitation, aged care, home care and disability to over 600 staff nationally. This business was subsequently acquired in which Rob stayed on as the Executive General Manager to merge many other acquired companies in this time to one brand, one ABN and one system. This grew to over 1300 allied health staff with significant continued growth in services.

Rob has a keen interest in workplace culture and with publications in this space he shows a passion for innovation. He has a continued commitment to MAXM, working to drive excellence and create a digital customer experience to connect the health ecosystem together for improved outcomes for all.

Graham Suter
Chief Operating Officer

Graham has been in and around the Advertising & Marketing industries for over 30 years, completing a Diploma of Business, Certificate lV in Marketing and Communications and a Diploma in Graphic Design.

He is a self-motivated professional owning a successful advertising agency for 20 years. With extensive experience in building client relationships, creating strategic marketing solutions, production and the ability to increase productivity through various advertising and digital mediums. He also enjoys the challenge of analysis to improve organisational processes, working to improve quality, productivity, and efficiency to drive growth in business.

Since 2013 Rob Chapman has been a professional Chairman and Company Director. After a successful executive career including the last 10 as a group executive of both St. George and Westpac cooperation.

Rob is considered to be one of South Australia’s most influential businessmen, having been recognised for his consistent pursuit of excellence and outstanding contribution to South Australia. He was also recently one of only four South Australians inducted into UniSA’s Alumni from the last 25 years.

David left university with a Bachelor of Economics (Accounting) and continued on this trajectory to become a certified practising accountant soon after, holding a senior management position at Deloitte from 1994-1997.

Before joining PMY as the Non Executive Director, David was a senior executive at Whelancare from 1997, including CEO from 2003 – 2015. He played an integral role overseeing its acquisition by Japara Healthcare in 2015.

Steve completed his PhD on Lumbo-pelvic kinematics and Neuromuscular control in asymptomatic and symptomatic populations at the University of Queensland in 2007. He is currently the High Performance Manager, Director Sports Science and Medicine at the North Melbourne Football Club 2010-2017; Director and Co-founder Kanga-Tech; Director and founder Saunders Sports and Spinal, Adelaide SA; Adjunct researcher University of South Australia and the University of Queensland.

As a clinician, Steve is a world renowned high performance consultant and Physiotherapist that has consulted and lectured world wide for more than 20 years. He currently works in both the Medical and Sports Science space, consulting throughout Australia, the UK and USA, having recently advised and sold innovative technology to teams in Australian cricket, the AFL, NRL, NBA, NHL, and MLB.
